Thank You Ma'am
I personally like the story because it turns the story complete from what the title its about. I like how the woman instead of turnig him to the police for what Rogers had done. Instead she decided to deal with the situation herself. She made him feel sorry what he had done and probably to not do it again in his life. Mrs. Jones at first seemed like she was going to be very harsh on him but instead she turned to be quite nice and Roger was not expecting that. Mrs. Jones taught him that when you want to get things dont's get them the wrong way, because " shoes got by devilish ways will burn your feet." So I believe that Roger learned his lesson and he will remember that event for the rest of his life.

Comparison and Contrast Of Education
There are many things to compare and contrast, but to me education is the easiest to do both. The Education both here and in Mexico, both have good resources, but the resources in the U.S. are way more advanced than Mexico. In Mexico math seems more advanced because students have to solve problems by hand and no calculator. Inthe U.S. math problems can at times be solved by calculator and the work is done. Education in both countries can be the same, the barrier is the economy. In Mexico money is an issue and when it comes to school, the tuition is extremaly expensive that parents rather to not take their kids to school. In the U.S education is free, all the way up to High School which makes it easier for parents.
There is rules to follow at school to follow both here and in Mexico, but if a student does not follow it, here he or she can easily get away with it. In Mexico the situation is quite different, if you don't follow orders you will get punished whether it is by cleaning classrooms or even at times getting smacked by rulers.
Education it is similar in ways of what it is taught, but another factor I see very different is the way students treat proffesors. Here students yell at teachers and even curse at them when they are told to follow instrutions. In Mexico if you were to even look at the teacher, knowing that you are not scare, you with pay the consequences.
Another factor is that in Mexico, students have to wear uniforms. In the U.S students do not wear uniforms unless it is a private school. Education in the U.S. and in Mexico can be compare but they instead have more to contrast.

Illegal Immigrants Struggle to Receive Pay Back
Before reading this article, I had a sense that by the title it will be about Illegal immigrats being treated unfairly especially when it comes down to their salaries after having done the required job. after reading this article my predicition was right. The article talked specifically about how employers do not pay their employee's like in these case with Ramon Hernandez. I feel its unfair how some employers take advantage of illegal immigrants. I myself know cases like this one of where adveantages are taken and think since they don't know the language they can't do anything about their rights and if they do they threaten them by saying they will call immigration on them. It disgusts me how people do that to these poor people, that the only thing they are trying to do its make money to feed their families back in their countries.
THe Beautiful Laughing Sisters- An Arrival Story
Before reading this article, I know that it would talk about two sister. The title itself does not give much information. After having read the article, it was nothing of what I expected to be. The article was much more thatn what the title gives. At first I was not quite intrested in reading the article, I thought that it was quite boring. Though it was much more, the article was a touching article and it was sad knowing wha these girls had to go through. i do beilieve you can learn a lot from the bad and good events that happen in your life. You do become a stronger person and try to not let anything get on your way of your goals. It's hard imagining how tough it was for these girls and yet survived through the harsh moments at the cells. i liked the article and it it true, you can't judge a book by its cover.

Over 270 Killed in india Floods
Before reading this article I knew that a flood had happen in India, but it seems like it is a very serious situation. I wonder what it will happen now to those poor people?Iwll there be any help send? After reading this article I found out that more than five hundred and thirthy one thousand have been evacuated. to safety. It seems that some help has arrived, yet people are still suffering. The rain has eased but still the damage is extreme. One question I have is whether this has anything to do with Global Warming? Now according to the disaster- management division more than one thousand one hundred have been killed in monsoon. Monsoon is a wind-system that influences large climatic regions and reerses direction seasonally, esp. the Asiatic system producing dry and wet seasons in India and South Asia

U.S. still in a serious recession.
Before reading this article I found that the United States is still in recession. Eighty six percent of Americans believe that the United States is in recession and that Federal Chairman is being optimistic. I would like to know how the Federal Chairman is being optimistic? What percentage Americans believe that recession has ended?
After reading the article I found that the percentages of the poll vary a lot. That from the CNN/Opinion Research corporation survey, thirteen percent said that economy recession has ended, fourty two percent said is in a very serious matter, thirty five percent say its moderate and one in ten said its mild. Americans think that Federal Chairman, Ben Bernanke, is being optimistic about the situation because he mentioned that " the recession is very likely over." I also found out how for some families finacially they are struggling and others are the same. In my opinion depending on what economic status you are in you will see the recession affecting in a very different way. Lets just not hope we get another " Great Depression."

Doctors Warn Texters
Before reading this texting article what I know is that texting while on the move can be dangerous. You can get very distracted while texting and be in danger. People are ignoring the risks of texting on the move. I also know that doctors are also making mistakes of testing on the move. What I would like to learn from this article is that how is it that doctors are also making mistakes?
After reading this texting article I learned that many texters try to do many things at once. Also that people text while walking, biking or even driving. Whats dangerous about this is that people get distracted and do not know where they are going or who they are bumping to. People have lost their lifes because of texting. Many people are ignoring the risks of texting on the move and even though they have walked into a post or wall they still maintain the habit of walking and texting at the same time.

My Personal Advice
Before I even graduated from High School I will hear that “you get to do whatever you want." Though no none mentions the academic part of college. Some of my personal advices will be to become very social, join school activities and most important make choices that you are confident about. Being social brings you to meet new people and with that join more in school events. Joining school activities like clubs or soerity's, which join you to fun and safe school events. I agree on the advice that Srijaya Reddy said "When scheduling classes, pick the professor, not the time of day. The person teaching can make all the difference." Another advice will be to take much responsibility and to be careful of underage drinking and becoming it a habit which it can affect academically, physically and socially.
